Mascarpone Cold Foam:
- 1 tablespoon mascarpone cheese
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon whole milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla syrup
Tiramisu Latte:
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup
- 2 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder plus more for dusting
- ¼ teaspoon rum extract optional
- 2 oz espresso or 8 oz brewed coffee
- 1 lady finger optional for garnish
Hot version:
Microwave mascarpone for 5 seconds to soften.
Add heavy cream, milk, and vanilla syrup. Froth until soft peaks form.
In a small saucepan, heat milk, cocoa powder, vanilla syrup, and rum extract (optional). Whisk until smooth and steaming.
Brew espresso or strong coffee.
Pour espresso into mug, top with cocoa milk, then add mascarpone foam.
Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with a ladyfinger.
Iced version:
Make foam using cold ingredients.
Use cold brew or chilled espresso.
Shake cocoa milk ingredients cold (no heating).
Assemble over ice and top with cold foam and garnish.
- Store leftover foam in the fridge up to 3 days. Froth again before using.
- Use plant-based milk and vegan cream cheese for dairy-free version.
